Bigots-racist-misogynist-blah blah are way over used and have lost their meaning. If someone has an opinion on any subject these days they are labeled. The intent is to silence the people or shame them into obscurity. Progressive libtards use the tactics of hate filled bullies.

By the way if you do not want to read this article I don't blame you. I'll tell you right up front it is Cracker Barrel removing the merchandise from their shelves.

Now if you really think about it, this is really not going to affect the Robertson's all that much, they have made so much already from this it is a small drop in the bucket in the whole scheme of their life. They have their fame and we can almost know for certain another network will pick them up.

Now Cracker Barrel is pulling DD merchandise which proceeds actually belongs to A&E not the Robertson's, so it hurt A&E, just the opposite of the intention, I am quite sure.  UPDATE CB has now reversed their decision.

I have never seen the show and really don't intend to. But I am very interested in reaction the American people are showing.

Now.....I have read a lot of the responses below the different stories about the Duck Dynasty personalities and how people feel seems to be based on emotion and not intelligent objective thinking. Below are the words supposedly spoken by Phil Robertson;

1. Robertson thinks black Americans were treated just fine in the Jim Crow-era South, and that they were happy there. " I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field.... They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues."
2. Robertson thinks the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor because they didn't believe in Jesus. "A ll you have to do is look at any society where there is no Jesus. I’ll give you four: Nazis, no Jesus. Look at their record. Uh, Shintos? They started this thing in Pearl Harbor. Any Jesus among them? None. Communists? None. Islamists? Zero. That’s eighty years of ideologies that have popped up where no Jesus was allowed among those four groups. Just look at the records as far as murder goes among those four groups."
3. Robertson hates gay people. Robertson in 2010: " Women with women, men with men, they committed indecent acts with one another, and they received in themselves the due penalty for their perversions.  They’re full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, God-haters. They are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless. They invent ways of doing evil."

Does this appear to anyone to be a college educated God fearing man with a ability to respond in an intelligent manner to a question of any kind? 

Why are the American people defending such an asinine, barbaric point of view? I am really worried if this is really how the public is behind closed doors.

Until Drudge Report started talking about it, no one talked about Duck Dynasty either, just sayin.

Kind of like Snowden and the US amnesty thing. "BING HEADLINE: WILL US GRANT AMNESTY."

2 days later: "BING HEADLINE: NO AMNESTY".

Of course, every "alt outlet" just had to cover it up and down. A big sensational irrelevant non-event for headlines and propaganda.

I call those fair weather fans. They showed up calling themselves republicans and conservatives once Fox Drudge CIA said to. They rally on MSM fed points regularly, MSM points always tainted with ... poison.

Like you said, tired of hearing about that crap and lets talk real talk.

We are given the "thing" to talk about - we've been given the national conversation and it doesn't change anything except give the forces that shouldn't be something to laugh about - they laugh because they told the masses to dance, so they did.
