Fireguy, yes, that's one of the stories my mom told me about those days in Dallas. The Carousel Club was very popular as Marrs says. She told me that Ruby was overprotective of the ladies who came in that he considered to be 'good girls'. For example, if he saw a man start a conversation with her, he would run over and ask her "is this guy bothering you because I'll throw him out if he is." She described Ruby as a 'buttinsky' who was overly involved with his employees as well as his customers. So from that perspective, it didn't surprise her at all that he had shot Oswald.

He was also a police buff and enjoyed hanging out at the Dallas PD. I remember her telling me about some policemen she had met who had been in the garage the day Ruby shot Oswald. She asked them why Ruby had been allowed into the police garage for such an important event and they said "we didn't think anything about it because he was always hanging around here and was friends with everyone in the building."

She actually got to meet Kennedy too. Two years prior to the assassination, Kennedy had flown to Dallas to pay a visit to Sam Rayburn who was in Baylor Hospital where she worked. She said Kennedy was much more handsome in person that he was on TV. Coincidentally, one of the doctors from Parkland who had worked on Kennedy was married to a nurse from Baylor. My mom and the nurse may have known each other, who knows. I had just been reading about it in this article:

Thanks fireguy, I'm watching both videos. This is very interesting for me because my mother went to the same college that Jim Marrs attended and she knew Jack Ruby from the Carousel Club which was near the Dallas PD headquarters.

Bankers and War Pigs (usually one in the same) both wanted Kennedy dead.

The once and future King George Bush Sr. was in Dallas that fateful day as was E. Howard Hunt. We all know how the Bush family was repaid for their valuable service. CIA Chief, two Presidents, a Governor, etc.
