The Establishment has perfected its machination of propaganda, creating the realities it wants into society, forming whatever truth that will be of the greatest benefit, not to society, but to itself. Whatever reality it wants to create and disseminate is quickly absorbed by a population eager to feed off the mammary glands of television. The Establishment, the corporate world and government have for years told us how and what to think, how to act, who to obey and where to follow, condemning our minds to obedience, our lives to conformism and silent acquiescence.

All those hundreds of TV channels may lead you that there’s a true diversity and variety in today’s television … but you’d be wrong. A handful of large companies control what you see, hear, and read every day.

Let’s take a look at who owns what on television – here are the TV channels owned by 6 of the largest companies in media, as depicted by their logos:

General Electric is a true behemoth: the conglomerate is the world’s third largest company with market capitalization of nearly $370 billion and annual revenue of $173 billion (2007). The company produces practically everything – from aircraft engine to locomotives to medical devices.

GE’s media holding includes television networks NBC and Telemundo, 27 television stations in the United States and many cable TV networks, including the History Channel, A&E, and Sci Fi Channel. It also owns the popular web-based TV website Hulu.

Update: December 3, 2009General Electric and Comcast announced a joint venture worth a combined $37.25 billion on that will give the cable company eventual control of NBC Universal.

Time Warner is the world’s largest media and entertainment company – it owns major operations in film, TV, print, Internet, and telecommunications. Time Warner has an annual revenue of $50.5 billion (2008) – the equivalent of the entire GDP of Luxembourg.

Like cartoons? Time Warner’s got you covered with Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. Classic movies? Check (Turner Classic Movies). And who can forget CNN and Headline News? Both are Time Warner properties. (Note: CW is co-owned by Time Warner and CBS).

You may associate it with amusement parks, but The Walt Disney Company has grown to be one of the world’s largest media and entertainment corporation since its founding as an animation studio by brothers Walt and Roy Disney in 1923.

The Walt Disney Company owns the ABC television network, with more 200 affiliated stations reaching nearly 100% of all U.S. television market, as well as dozens of niche cable networks. True to its cartoon animation origin, Disney captures its viewers early – it counts millions of young children as its audience with kids channels like the Disney Channel.
Update 7/8/08: A&E is co-owned by The Hearst Corporation and ABC

Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation is a behemoth: it is the largest media company in the world by market capitalization ($38 billion). For most people, the conservative news channel Fox comes foremost to mind when asked what they think of Murdoch’s media empire – but the company’s holding is far larger: it includes Asia’s Star TV Network, the National Geographic Channel and even the iconic TV Guide network.

Don’t watch TV? Even if you prefer to browse the Internet, most likely you’ve visited News Corp’s property, which include Hulu (owned in partnership with GE through its subsidiary NBC Universal) and the social networking giant MySpace.

CBS(which used to stand for the Columbia Broadcasting System) is not sometimes called the Tiffany Network for nothing: the company is known for its high programming quality. It is currently the most watched television network in the United States, and reached more than 103 million homes in the country.

Both CBS and Viacom (see below) are owned by multi-billionaire Sumner "content is king" Redstone, through his holding company National Amusements.

Viacom stands for "Video and Audio Communication" – and true to that name, the company owns a large number of cable and satellite television networks (the company was split from CBS Corporation in 2005, though both have the same majority owner).

How The Machine Creates Obedient Zombies

We see them everywhere, on every TV network, saying exactly the same thing. Every time there is a major terrorist incident, the media endlessly replays footage of obedient Stepford Wife slaves in airports and on the streets calling for more police state measures to protect them from whatever invented boogeyman is being dangled in front of them this time around.

If big media corporation wants to take the role of government... then let's treat them as such... let's flood their fax machines and phone lines with our grievances. Let's inundate their staff and time with what we don't like. If we cookie cutter a method of content which expresses our disdain and inundate every corporate media facet affecting our governance with it, they may decide it's better to leave us and our republic form of government alone. Every time we see a commercial or programing that offends us, we let them know in mass. Can you imagine what the media corporate heads would do if they got all the S**T we've been giving our politicians??? they would have had to hire a hundred more people just to handle the faxes and phone calls, and that costs money! That creates non-cost effective expenditures for them. If we think of ways to affect their profit and pursue, they'll probably decide to change their programing. If they want to play the part of a manipulating politician... O K let's treat them like one. Let's start exposing them just like we're exposing the rest of the NWO. Let's write reviews and criticize how news is presented in so much that it's not objective but instead leads people to a particular political agenda. Let's criticize how news anchors present themselves with a pseudo vulnerable naive nature encouraging a victims persona to attempt to shape the status quo image.

"Once again the system is at work, knowing how easy it is to control the minds of a dumbed down population that has been well trained, and some might say socially engineered, to never question authority, never think outside the box, never seek accountability and never think for itself. Easily manipulated, millions of people are conditioned to believe, from a very early age, that anything emanating from television is sacrosanct."

This is all outlined in Zbigniew Brzezinski's book written in the early 60 "Between two ages" in this book he explains how to get to where we are now by using media mind control the demise of the family unit the disregard for God and so on, this plan that they have been using was outlined in this book and they are sitting back laughing there ass's off at the lazy fools they contro,l even after they told us how and with what tools they would be using. Kick back, go with the flow don't be a rebel smoke a joint and watch TVFOOLS

It's funny... but not in a humorous way, so much... but the entire time I'm watching this video I'm contemplating the decision of purchasing the Draco 7.62x39 close contact defense pistol, verses going with the Hi Point .40 S&W Carbine. There was a time I enjoyed purchasing firearms but now as I think about it, the thought seems to have become burdensome as though I have to pay a bill or mow my lawn. As the conditions of our country worsen useful hobbies are now becoming morbid responsibilities. Things are changing.

How many of you remember the Warner Brothers cartoons featuring Daffy Duck and Porky Pig? There was one episode where Daffy was sent to prison and Porky was the Warden. In the episode, Daffy attempts an escape and as Daffy is creeping along a wall, the searchlight pops on and, exposes and impedes his attempt to escape. As the searchlight glows he knows he is fully seen and though he freezes in stride he dares to turn directly to the searchlight smiles animatedly as though he is appearing in a theater stage spotlight and begins to tap dance a soft shoe step. Well, that's what all this exposé is like. The criminals are caught in the act of the commission of their crimes and despite the awareness and exposure of their criminal antics they continue to attempt to portray themselves as innocent fellow players on the world stage.

However, I thank my God, as King David once did, for my God's marvelous laws; one being, the Laws of Averages. The Law of Averages dictates and regulates the balances of excess in the Status Quo. For now, the sounding of the drums of war and the tolling of the warning bell may seem they are not being heard even in so much to the point they are even being ignored, but the Law of Averages is at work, regardless. Soon those with ears and eyes to see will and are seeing the criminals and the Status Quo is about to change. The soft shoe tap dance is being exposed for what it is and what it's doing, and to Tolerance, the Law of averages will also be applied. After all, can not a single straw break a camel’s back? Of course it can when the precluding conditions of all other stalks of straw have been put into place. As for now though, and for all which can be believed in, believe the relentless exposure of these criminals is like the stacking stalks of straw upon the camel’s back.

The Status Quo is about to be changed, but it’s only through process of change by which strengths are revealed and courage is fully tested. Examination and Exposure are the seeds of Change. The American Lifestyle is and was always meant to be both, Evolutionary and Revolutionary. We can never go back to the way things were or keep things the way they are. We have to find new heights of Freedom and new depths to the meaning of our humanity, and the only way to attain those heights and ascertain those depths is to plant the seeds of Examination and Exposure relentlessly and endure the process of their manifestation, Change.

BTW – I guess I’ll go with the Draco…

Pentagon nominee promises reporters won't be rated before embeds
The nominee for the Pentagon’s top public affairs job promised Thursday he will review Defense Department policies to ensure that journalists are not being denied embeds with combat troops based on the tenor of their reporting, a practice exposed by Stars and Stripes last summer. Douglas Wilson, who is expected to be confirmed as the new assistant secretary of defense for public affairs, told members of the Senate Armed Services Committee that he was opposed to rating reporters as "friendly" or "negative" when considering their applications to accompany U.S. combat troops, and will look into the matter when he takes over the post.
