Jared Gurman Shoots Girlfriend Jessica Gelderman for not Believing ...

Jared Gurman allegedly shot his girlfriend, Jessica Gelderman, with a .22-caliber rifle on Monday over an argument over the AMC television show ‘The Walking Dead’ (video below).

Gurman was angry at Gelderman because she would not take the possibility of a real zombie attack seriously, reports WPIX-TV.

Nassau County Police Detective Lt. Raymond Cote told a press conference: “He feels strongly about the possibility that some military mishap could occur causing some tragic consequence. She felt that it was ridiculous.”

Serbian Mayor Issues Public Health Warning On Vampire Outbreak

I wonder if Homeland Security has a color coding for this particular warning. A Serbian village, Zarozje, is in full panic after its mayor issued a serious public health warning of an outbreak of vampires. One particular vampire actually: Sava Savanovic, which by the way is a great name for a vampire.

Hey if you don't know what gender you are marrying then you deserve what you get. Obliviously if they lived together and the kids loved her/him then it couldn't have been to bad.

A Belgian is seeking to have his marriage annulled after discovering that his Indonesian wife of 19 years had been born a man.

"I feel I've been assaulted," he told the Het Nieuwsblad newspaper.

Was the Mysterious Explosion in Indianapolis a Drone Strike?

Last Saturday evening, two Indianapolis homes exploded, killing two people and damaging 18 neighboring structures. At first, authorities suggested that it was caused by a gas leak or faulty furnace. However, overhead photos of the blast show devastation that looks much more like a bombing. According to CBS News, expert testimony suggests that a furnace could not cause this type of devastation. Also, Chicagoist is reporting that Citizens Energy has performed an investigation looking for gas leaks, and none could be found.

Federal officials were on the scene quickly. They took over the case and shut down the perimeter to outsiders. Though initial statements by government officials suggested a gas leak, law enforcers are treating the blast as a crime scene. Could it be possible that this explosion was caused by a drone strike? Let’s consider that theory.

FREEPORT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A Freeport firefighter has been charged with arson after police said he set two cars on fire while trying to siphon gas from a fire department vehicle.

Steven Pena was arrested Monday at a firehouse on Leonard Avenue.

Nassau County police said the 23-year-old Freeport firefighter was using an electric vacuum to illegally siphon gas from a Village of Freeport Fire

WOMAN WHO DROVE ON SIDEWALK MUST WEAR 'IDIOT' SIGN

 

CLEVELAND (AP) -- A woman caught on camera driving on a sidewalk to avoid a Cleveland school bus that was unloading children will have to stand at an intersection wearing a sign warning about idiots.

Court records show a Cleveland Municipal Court judge on Monday ordered 32-year-old Shena Hardin to stand at an intersection for two days next week. She will have to wear a sign saying: "Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus."
