Radio Science Observing is scientific observations of electromagnetic, electric, and magnetic fields.  It's about recording and taking measurements of a natural and man made transmissions.     Radio Science Observers monitor a wider range of frequencies from 0.1 Hz to over 300 GHz.     Some work for science groups, some do it as a hobby, some work for a private investigation agency.
