In an effort to reassure Americans ahead of next week’s speech in which President Obama will announce the escalation of the Afghan War, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs wants Americans to rest safe in the knowledge that the war is not going to last forever.
“We are in year nine of our efforts in Afghanistan,” Gibbs noted, “we are not going to be there another eight or nine…

The 2010 election cycle promises to be one of the most significant in decades. There are several reasons. First, political polarization has reached a crescendo. Second, the mounting, but as yet unquantifiable, level of public outrage at the current leadership makes for a truly unpredictable outcome. And third: a century of collectivist cultural influence has successfully debilitated the general acuity with which most people think about politics.
As to political polarization, it is…

I was looking at AM transmitters, most of them were very expensive and out of my price range. So I went back to Ramsey Electronics, and I was looking at their kits. I found one that is suitible for my needs. The AM 1 transmitter project kit. The kit only costs about $34.95, but shipping might be steep. Anyways this transmitter has frequency coverage of 540 kHz. If you look and download the manual you will see why I need this station. This maybe a small step away from the home brew 200 In One…

I have been using 9.10 for a long time, now I need to start updating my software to 10.04 for the latest security and bug fixes. 9.10 will only last so long, but it's best to update your versions more often. Linux is being used in the GCC engineering's Radio Science Labs since Sept 2009, cause of WIndows giving up the ghost. Microsoft makes bad software, and I cannot afford to have my computers fixed and reformatted cause of some stupid virus, spyware. It has happened to me many times. I have…

After 10 months in office, President Barack Obama on Wednesday granted his first pardon to Courage, a 45-pound turkey spared from the Thanksgiving table.

"Can you or can you not produce an ORIGINAL copy of your birth certificate?"
I see what appears to be a forgery
here posted by the LA Times. I base my accusation on two counts:
1. If this is the original, then why is it so perfect? Over time, paper wears, there are coffee stains, etc.
2. More importantly, if you look closely at all, just below…

The Pentagon's top detainee affairs policy appointee has quit the Defense Department just seven months into the job, a Pentagon spokesman said Tuesday.
Phillip Carter, a former Army captain and Iraq War veteran, had been an outspoken critic of Bush-era war on terror detention policy as an attorney and blogging commentator.
He got the job of U.S. deputy assistant secretary of defense for detainee affairs in April, months after President Barack…

Occultism is directly harming the credibility of the movement on a daily basis, and it is often the reason people will get dismissed as crazy or a “conspiracy theorist” without even listening to the information.
What is Occultism?
“Occultism is the study of occult or hidden wisdom. To the occultist it is the study of “Truth”, a deeper truth that exists beneath the surface: ‘The truth is always hidden in plain sight’. It can involve such subjects as magic (alternatively…

Here we are on the verge of a momentous announcement – President Obama’s unveiling of his "comprehensive plan" for escalating the war in Afghanistan – and where is the so-called antiwar movement? Missing in action, as this news report reveals:
“‘There’s this trust that he’s going to fix it all,’ said Shara Esbenshade, 19, a sophomore at Stanford University and member of Stanford Says No To War. She says there are no antiwar marches on her campus, only…

"If you haven't done anything…

In the days following a societal collapse, there will be some people who will be on the move from where the problems exist to where they hope safety lies. There can be many reasons why people are on the move, and an equal number of reasons why someone else may wish to stop your progress. Getting on the move and out of a hostile area as early as possible in the wake of a…

Ecclesiastes 1:9,
"All the things that have been are the things that shall be, and there is no new thing under the sun." Many of you may not read any further, thinking that I am just going to be some bible thumping Christian living in La-La land trying to explain why you too should join the Jesus team. But thankfully for your sake I am not. I am not a professing Christian, but i am a follower of Jesus Christ. I know you are probably wondering whats the difference, but that blog I must…

Glenn Beck, Community Organizer
The Fox News star’s plunge into political activism is more than rank hypocrisy. It’s the work of an unprincipled propagandist who’s draining his followers’ bank accounts.
Remember when Glenn Beck accused President Obama of winning followers like a totalitarian demagogue, warned against the nefarious tendencies of community organizers, and was himself defended against critics by Jonah Goldberg,…

Opera 'censors' Chinese content
Web browser Opera has closed a loophole which allowed Chinese users to access sites banned by the government.
At the weekend mobile users of the Opera Mini browser were asked to upgrade to a Chinese version.
According to the BBC's Beijing Bureau, this version no longer allows access to sites such as Facebook.
Previously traffic ran over Opera servers bypassing the so-called Great Firewall of China, making the browser…
