HOLLAND, Ohio (Reuters) - "Joe the Plumber," who came to symbolize U.S. taxpayer frustration during last year's election, sounds even angrier now at what he sees as excessive government spending on the economy and healthcare reform.
"The politicians in Washington are spending trillions of dollars of our money. When are Americans going to stand up and say enough is enough?" said Joe Wurzelbacher, 35, in an interview on Friday at his modest suburban Ohio…

The idea that there could be any connection between one of India's most remote and inaccessible areas and the Church of England seems improbable, at first glance.
High in the monsoon mists in eastern India, witch doctors in the Niyamgiri hills still make sacrifices to the gods and tribes believe the hills are sacred.
It is a world away from the quiet corridors of Church House - the headquarters of the Church of England in…

Ning invites
I have received 813 ning invites since the beginning of this year. And most if not all come from only a handful of people. I have figured out the best way to deal with this is to remove them from my friends list. Otherwise you will continue to get them, simply blocking a sender from one ning page does not stop them from continuing to send out invites from others.
My question is, how can one belong to so many groups ,and why do they want us all to join so…

Obama looked at Oprah, chuckled and said, You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy.
Oprah shrugged her shoulders and replied,I could throw ten $100 bills out of the window and make ten people very happy.

By Steve Chao in Seoul, South Korea
When Im Chun-yong made his daring escape from North Korea, with a handful of his special forces men, there were many reasons why the North Korean government was intent on stopping them.
They were, after all, part of Kim Jong-il's elite commandos - privy to a wealth of military secrets and insights into the workings of the reclusive regime
But among the accounts they carried with them is one of the most shocking yet to emerge –…

Americans find themselves in one of the more unique time periods since our noble fight for independence more than 200 years ago. It is a time where more Americans than ever are out of work, state budgets are flat broken, deficits are measured in the trillions of dollars and a federal government running rampant with our tax money under the ill-conceived guise of fixing the problems that government created in the first place.
Last night, Barack Obama stood in front of millions of…

Senate and House lawmakers are putting the brakes on the health care reform bill.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for the first time Thursday said that the Senate will not vote on the legislation until after the August recess. He told reporters it's more important to get it right than to ram through an incomplete bill.
The decision means Congress will not meet President Obama's ambitious deadline for legislation…
