Flying Zombies

Parasitic fly creates "zombie bees" -- a new factor explaining Colony Collapse Disorder (NaturalNews) Researchers at a California university have found a parasitic fly which causes honeybees to become disoriented and abandon their hives before dying, behavior which made one of the researchers compare them to zombies. Scientists believe this...

Gm is that you I hear buzzing?

http://www.naturalnews.com/034943_genetically_modified_mosquitoes_Florida_disease.html

NaturalNews) In an effort to help eradicate dengue fever and the mosquitos that spread it, the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District (FKMCD) is seeking federal and state approval to release hundreds of thousands of genetically-modified (GM) mosquitos designed to kill off the natural Aedes…

Just Wondering

Reading some post and replies it has come to my attention that some of us may have information on certain things that some others of us may need. I am putting forward the idea to make a site for people to ask medical knowledge or preserving methods of food  or the making of clothing. Things that myself and you take for granite may to another be very helpful. Responses and feed back are very much appreciated.

what price is to high to pay?

(NaturalNews) A recent CBS article wrote of wholesale beef prices rising to the point where retail beef sales are dropping. Unhappy customers are asking how much is the beef now instead of where's the beef.

The Department of Agriculture (USDA) claims the cattle herd in the USA is at its lowest since 1952, at only 91 million. The USDA also claims the cost of grains for feeding cattle before slaughter has risen and the herds are smaller because of severe droughts in Texas and…

Clay tablets from 2000B.C.

The Gateway to History by Allan Nevins. It states on pg. 103 at the end of the first paragraph, 2000 yr. old clay tablets were discovered concerning the time of King Hammurabi.  "Babylonian production and commerce had been thoroughly organized by that keen business sagacity which has marked the Semitic race ever since."

Is that not amazing?! Over four thousand years of written proof, and still we need more? I think that the word race was wrongly used though. Semites can be several…

They had assets here after Lybia...REALLY

On Wednesday the Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Seyed Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi declared that Iran has the capabilities to carry out military strikes on US interests around the globe.

This comes after President Obama announced the United States would freeze all Iranian assets held in the US. The executive order which was signed on Monday was in reaction to what the US is calling deceptive practices by Iran.

"The issue of a military attack from…

Hungry?

(NaturalNews) The Prickly Pear cactus is a common sight in the American West and Mexico. The plant is native to Mexico but has been introduced to many other parts of the globe. In the genus Opuntia it's also know as nopales, paddle cactus, beavertail or tuna. There are about 200 species in this genus, they're all edible and most of them are palatable.

Prickly pears grow with flat, rounded pads called cladodes or platyclades that are armed with two kinds of spines: large,…

Hawaii Police State

(NaturalNews) It is becoming increasingly obvious, and highly embarrassing, that many members of the US Congress have absolutely no idea what the Constitution says, or how the justice system works. Rep. John Mizuno (D-Hawaii) recently introduced a bill that intends to keep a log of every website visited by every person using the internet in Hawaii in order to target internet harassment, in direct defiance of the Fourth Amendment.

HB 2288 provisions that all internet service…

Good Ole Sunshine Not Sun Block

(NaturalNews) Most of us know that vitamin D3 helps prevent almost anything from flu to cancer by strengthening our immune systems. But little has been publicized about D3's potential for preventing or getting out of depression. Recent studies link D3 deficiencies to depression. And there is some, who speculate how D3's physiological protections directly affect moods.

Several studies indicate the potential for preventing and…
