Obviously the textbooks will have to amend their statements about Sumeria, but I understand that under water off the southwest coast of India are evidences of civilizations much older than that discussed in Lisa's post. If you believe Richard Cremo, relics like hammers, mortars/pestals have been found beneath coal deposits in California and in the midwest that are hundreds of thousands or older. We have a knowledge "filter" in our universities that does NOT want to discuss these things because they go against established doctrine...kind of reminds you of those that were determined to insist that the earth was, indeed, flat and that the sun spun around the earth. Sad...truly sad
