This is part of a report that is suppose to be in the BHO health care fiasco. The person who is bringing this to our attention says it lies buried deep within the over 1,000 pages of the massive US Health Care Bill (PDF) in a “non-discussed” section titled: Subtitle C-11 Sec. 2521— National Medical Device Registry, and which states its purpose as:
“The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the ‘registry’) to facilitate…

The Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem says the soldiers arrive at the village, which lies west of Ramallah, with Israel Security Agency agents holding lists of persons suspected of involvement in weekly demonstrations held in the village against the construction of the Israeli Separation Barrier more commonly known as the Wall.
According to testimonies given to…

IRAQ’S foreign minister admitted yesterday the country’s own security forces may have colluded in the massive truck bombings in which nearly 100 people died.
Hoshiyar Zebari also criticised Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki for removing blast walls from Baghdad’s streets, saying it was one cause of Wednesday’s two blasts at the foreign and finance ministries.
“According to our information, there has even been collaboration between security officers and the murderers and killers,” said…

Obama’s Pay Czar Is A “Paid” Man
August 29th, 2009
In early June President Barack Obama appointed Kenneth Fienberg to act as the pay czar for the Treasury Department and essentially policing Wall Street Compensation. Fienberg is probably most known for overseeing the government’s compensation funds for victims of September 11th. However, many American may not be aware that Feinberg is no stranger to receiving huge executive payouts.
Feinberg, who is working as the pay…

Last Words
by: H. L. Mencken (1926)
I have alluded somewhat vaguely to the merits of democracy. One of them is quite obvious: it is, perhaps, the most charming form of government ever devised by man. The reason is not far to seek. It is based upon propositions that are palpably not true and what is not true, as everyone knows, is always immensely more fascinating and satisfying to the vast majority of men than what is true. Truth has a harshness that alarms them, and an air…

We have outed all the villains with their hate and wrath and more
We have spread a taste for freedom using words instead of swords
The truthers will march on."
"Glory, glory, hallelujah ..."
"We have seen them building prisons and the threat of FEMA camps
We have swallowed down their toxins and have suffered stomach cramps
They may call us useless eaters or unruly roguish scamps
But truthers…

Tolerating Tyranny
By Larkin Rose
Last weekend I was hiding out in New Hampshire at a pro-freedom "rally." (I was merely a spectator at this one.) At the rally there was, as usual, a long list of complaints about all the nasty things being done by the people who call themselves "government." And there was much zeal and enthusiasm about…

WASHINGTON — In a highly unusual legal step, a federal judge has ordered the government to grant an attorney a security clearance so he can represent a disgruntled former narcotics officer in a lawsuit against a former CIA officer.
The judge's order significantly boosts attorney Brian Leighton's long legal battle on behalf of Richard Horn, a Drug Enforcement Administration veteran whose service ranged from California's San Joaquin Valley to the Burmese jungles. More broadly, the new…

SANTA FE, N.M. -- New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former high-ranking members of his administration won't be criminally charged in a yearlong federal investigation into pay-to-play allegations involving one of the Democratic governor's large political donors, someone familiar with the case said.
The decision not to pursue indictments was made by top Justice Department officials, according to a person familiar with the investigation, who asked not to be identified because federal…

More Americans are having their power shut off as the weak economy makes it harder to pay bills.
"We see record numbers of households becoming disconnected or in danger of disconnection," says Mark Bixby, energy director of Rockford, Ill. Five years ago, his office distributed federal funds annually to about 300 households that had their power cut off. Last year, it was 1,834 households, and the number is likely to go up this year, he says: "It's families…

The rancorous atmosphere in Washington has spread to healthcare town hall meetings
By Kenneth T. Walsh
Posted August 27, 2009
No matter how much politicians say they want to get along, a dominant feature of the political landscape in Washington is still the blame game. And it will intensify next month when congressional Democrats and Republicans return from their summer break to do battle on healthcare, the economy, climate change, and the wars in Afghanistan and…

Here is another project that takes us a little closer to altering the earth forever. All those who agree with this redesigning of nature, should probably be charged with crimes against humanity (and nature). These improvements always sound so useful until they are completely implemented and we see the awful down side. Anything for the almighty dollar. If this is approved and the world is subjected to the new and improved trees, we may not know nature in it's true form in time to come. Of…
