For three decades, Rep. Ron Paul has waged a lonely battle in Congress to abolish the Federal Reserve. But he has more foot soldiers across the nation today, particularly after the financial crisis, who are leading the drive for wider congressional audits of the central bank. (See today’s Journal story for more on their movement.)
Rep. Ron Paul speaks to a growing group of followers.…

There’s plenty of federal holidays for Americans to celebrate. On July 4th, there’s independence from King George’s England. On the first Monday in September, a holiday was dedicated to the “social and economic achievements of American workers.” Other days throughout the year celebrate autumn harvest, soldiers who died in the civil war and even a person who sailed to this continent nearly three centuries before the country was “founded.”
When…

Josh Wexler, a 30-year-old piano player, said he saw a New Orleans police officer run a stop sign and strike a pedestrian with his car in the French Quarter at 12:45 p.m. Jan. 29.
When the pedestrian raised his hands as if to say, “What are you doing?” the officer rushed out of his vehicle and “angrily” grabbed the startled man, Wexler said.
The officer in question, William Torres, reportedly forced the pedestrian to place his hands on the…

A great way to help people wake up I think, even if it does throw some whitewash into the mix.
You see, our government does horrible evil things, even to it's own citizens. Even National Geographic says so, Did you hear about the prosecutions resulting from this stuff? I sure didn't. Is that consistent with the rule of law? Is it okay for government agents to be above the…

While the name Panvax conjures an image for some sort of urination collection retrieval system, eg – vacuum assisted bedpan, it is in fact the new vaccine produced by Australia’s Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL), for combating the scourge of flying pigs (swine flu). The first glimpses of the details for this product come from the Western Australian Government in a published…

Boston launches flu shot tracking
City to pinpoint areas of low rates of vaccination
Using technology originally developed for mass disasters, Boston disease trackers are embarking on a novel experiment - one of the first in the country - aimed at eventually creating a citywide registry of everyone who has had a flu vaccination.
The resulting vaccination map would allow swift intervention in neighborhoods left vulnerable to the fast-moving respiratory…

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - The Canadian government sent body bags to some remote Indian reserves as it prepared for the winter flu season, sending a jarring message at odds with its promise that it's ready for the H1N1 flu.
The body bags went to some reserves in Manitoba, the western province in which some remote Indian communities were hard-hit by the flu in the spring, Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq said on Wednesday.
"It is very disturbing," Aglukkaq…

So, the Navy can apparently come and fly into a municipal air port, shut down more than half the run-way so they can refuel. At one point, both the air port manager/operator and the owner of the Jet behind the Navy's chopper decided to stand up to the Navy and they all got in a little confrontation about the situation. Apparently, if the Navy wants to, they can land at your local municipal air port and partly shut it down if they feel it necessary.…

9/12: The Revolution Has Begun
9/12: The Revolution Has Begun
by Chris Burgard
What began on the border in 2005 has spread to DC and every state in the union. The Revolution isn’t coming, it is here. Call it the Constitution Revolution. The genie is out of the bottle and there will be no putting her back in.
I spent all day yesterday up and down Pennsylvania Avenue with people from all over the Union. One guy I met had 45 autographs on his t-shirt from people…

WASHINGTON – The lodge room of the Naval Masonic Hall is a colorful and somewhat inscrutable sight for the nonmember, with its blue walls, Egyptian symbols, checkered floor in the center and high ceiling painted with gold stars.
Countless secrets supposedly have been shared in this and thousands of similar rooms of the Masons around the…
