Biggest jump in food costs in more than 36 years

WASHINGTON (AP) — Wholesale prices jumped last month by the most in nearly two years due to higher energy costs and the steepest rise in food prices in 36 years. Excluding those volatile categories, inflation was tame.

The Labor Department said Wednesday that the Producer Price Index rose a seasonally adjusted 1.6 percent in February — double the 0.8 percent rise in the previous month. Outside of food and energy costs, the core index ticked up 0.2 percent, less than January’s 0.5…

The End of Nuclear Power?

Dominant Social Theme: Too bad. Nuclear power is the solution to global warming.

Free-Market Analysis: Yesterday we provided something of an update on Green technology, which in some instances is not proving anymore successful in the 21st century than it did in the 1970s. We concluded by suggesting that the Green movement was more about centralizing power and control in order to buttress the power elite's goal of one-world government than it was about caring for the…

RED ALERT ALL EFFORTS TO STOP OR CONTAIN MELTDOWN HAVE BEEN ENDED

FUKUSHIMA, Japan – Japan suspended operations to keep its stricken nuclear plant from melting down Wednesday after surging radiation made it too dangerous to stay.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said the workers dousing the reactors in a frantic effort to cool them needed to withdraw.

"The workers cannot carry out even minimal work at the plant now," Edano said. "Because of the radiation risk we…

Copyright Law Crackdown, The White House is a Cracking

Little by little our freedoms are being taken away in the good ole US of A, especially our freedom of speech. The Government is slowly chipping away our right to freedom of information provided by the internet. The age of information sharing is going to be a thing of the past if we don't do something to halt these idiots from stealing the only tool that gains us the key that unlocks the truth and gives it a vehicle to be spread far and near. ~Tara…

The destruction of man, a Shaman's prophecy.

A number of people can predict the future. But few get the timing correct. Stalking Wolf, also called "Grandfather", was an Apache wise man and scout who grew up outside the influence of the white man.  His  many predictions not only came true in the MANNER he predicted, but also WHEN he predicted.

The Green Movement of Years Past Will Cause Japan Style Meltdown in USA (Original Content)

I know what the hell am I talking about I must have been abducted and mutilated by little green men suggesting that about the green movement (who protested nuclear power) causing a Japan style meltdown right?

Simple logic at play here folks, that reactor #1 at the Fukushima nuke plant in Japan was built in the late 1960's!! and installed in Oct. 1970. It was the first to go for good reason it was the oldest. There are 23 of those Mark1 reactors here in the USA that are just…

Jury Says Blogger Has To Pay For His Words Even Though He Did Not Lie

On Friday, a Minnesota jury found that a blogger must pay $60,000 in damages because of statements he published in his blog about a public figure who was subsequently fired from his job. Internet publishers and free speech advocates should pay close attention to this case if it is appealed because the blogger was found liable even though the jury did not find that the blogger's statements were false.…

The 31 Most Ridiculous Quotes Of 2011 So Far

If you really want to find out what someone is all about sometimes all you need to do is to shut up for a while and let them talk. The truth is that the mouth always eventually reveals what is in the heart. Most politicians and world leaders are highly skilled at "filtering" what they say to the public, but even most of them will eventually break down and tell us exactly what they are thinking. Posted below are 31 of the… Continue
