Nearly three years after the Icelandic economy imploded, the country appears to be recovering, and some believe its approach may offer a possible solution to Europe's debt problems.
Iceland does not seem like a country in the grip of a crisis.
On my first day the sun was shining brightly and out in Reykjavik's main shopping area the shops and boutiques, the cafes and restaurants were busy. Indeed, Reykjavik seemed pretty much like any other…Continue

7 pm my time; mid-night in Iceland. New year's eve.
Watching '2 lbs per person on the island' fireworks display over a roving web cam; a panner that scans most of the city for ya is taking up my time.
OK, so I’m easily amused. The party is city-wide, used to fund rescue work and a national event there.
From a land where cleaning up the city on Sunday (FOR FREE, BY…Continue
Obama signs defense bill despite 'reservations'
"If guns kill people, do pencils misspell words?"
One thing I would like to do is to ask Hillary (Clinton) in public is if she is "for" gun control (I believe she is). That nailed down, I would reply:
"Not all that long ago if people like you had been in power, the greatest nation on Earth never would have happened."

American military advisors began arriving in Vietnam in 1955-56 during the Eisenhower administration. Even today in 2011 virtually every single member of the military whether the Army, Navy or Air Force are Freemasons, – or belong to a very similar covert secret societies, clubs or fraternities, so much so is their involvement they can’t seemed to go anywhere in the world without setting up camp and opening their lodges wherever they happen to be based. American military…Continue

For those not to familiar with the Islamic religion here’s a quick rundown about the Sunni and Shia divide, that has similar problems as that of Protestants and Catholics, – the division between Sunni’s and Shi’as is the largest and oldest in the history of Islam . They both agree on the basics of Islam and share the same Holy Book [The Qur’an], as do the Protestants and Catholics, but there are differences mostly derived from their different historical experiences, political…Continue

President Nasser violently abolished Freemasonry in 1961, having it been well and truly established in Egypt since at least 1798, the days of Napoleon’s exhibition, to the demise of the Masonic movement that ended in disrepute and chaos in 1922, – that then in turn led to the establishment of the Muslim Brotherhood [MB] founded in 1928, and that despite it being banned time and time again, has still survived and is present in almost all middle eastern countries.
Gentlemen’s clubs are not just strip joints like ‘Spearmint Rhino’ or ‘Stringfellows’, but predominately ‘members-only’ private clubs of the type originally setup for and by English upper class men in the 18th century, and popularised by English upper-middle class men and women in the late 19th century. The original clubs were established in the West End of London, where even today, the area of St. James’s is still sometimes referred to as ‘Club-land’. To some degree clubs…Continue

Devotes large portion of programming to latest smear attempt
December 30, 2011
Last night MSNBC host Chris Matthews spent a large portion of his Hardball program attempting to destroy Ron Paul’s presidential campaign.
In an embarrassing display of partisanship and outright bias, Matthews poked into every avenue he could in an attempt to paint Paul up as a delusional, paranoid, racist conspiracy…Continue

Pop singer Kelly Clarkson, the first contestant to win “American Idol,” took a lot of heat this week after she sent a message on Twitter saying she supported Ron Paul and would vote for him if he got the GOP nomination. She was skewered for those remarks. But now…Continue

All the respectables agree: we can support anyone we like, except Ron Paul. That’s what the New York Times, much of the progressive left, and much of the fake-conservative talk-radio right — in other words, the whole spectrum of people who have…Continue
Fire on Russian nuclear submarine 'under control'

From a scaffold spread late Thursday night at a Russian nuclear submarine, which was docked in Murmansk. Norwegians fear radiation.

Nine people were injured during a fire at a nuclear submarine that is docked at a Russian shipyard. No one is dead after the fire, said the Russian authorities told…Continue
I have never hid from the fact I’m a Ron Paul fan. I believe he was systematically robbed of votes in 2007/2008, and think the preliminary steps to doing it again are being put into place now. Rather than get angry, I can use this as an opportunity to cite earlier prognostications of mine to establish a modus operandi on the anti-Paul gang (New World Order).
They are one trick ponies, but they do one trick quite well-the trick of unmitigated gall, thrown into the faces of the…Continue
