 Since Barack Obama recently took it upon himself to label himself ‘dictator’ with free will to kill Americans with drones, isn’t it time that Americans learn how to fight back and kill drones? Where there is a will, there is a way! This excellent article informs Americans who are completely disgusted with the ‘Police State’ our once free nation has become on how to kill UAV’s. If UAV’s are going to be used to kill Americans, Americans need to learn how to fight back. Our GOD given right to defend our own lives is a much higher power than either Barack Obama or the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution or the US Pentagon and their killing machines. These monsters DESERVE to be grounded. Here’s how to do it!

The UAVs have two alternative systems for communication.

Line of sight radio :
In the military C-Band  500 – 1000 MHz that can be jammed with simple spark-gap radio

Satellite communication :
In the Ku-Band between 10.95 – 14.5 GHz, and  the satellite can be jammed.
The Uplink-Band to the satellite is 13.75 – 14.5 GHz
The Downlink-Band from the satellite is 10.95 – 12.75 GHz
And you should jam the Uplink frequencies with a jammer directed at the satellite.

The satellite link system is from L-3 Communications.

Surprisingly, the resistance can tap off the military’s video feeds

As you can see in the specifications, the satellite link system uses the same civilian commercial technology as television broadcasting companies. And the surprise is that the resistance and others have tapped off the videos from the battlefield with simple commercial equipment.

If you jam the communication, then the operator becomes blind and the UAV will fly around until it crashes or the fuel is gone. But you must kill both links of communication to kill any rescue.

There are a limited number of satellite channels available which means that the satellite link becomes a bottleneck. The satellite is therefore used as a backup and jammer-rescue channel and for single special operations from far away from the target, while C-band radio is used for multiple simultaneous operations from near the targets. Every military base have their own UAVs that must be operated through the C-band radio. C-band radio is also reported to be used for take off and landing. Which means that the C-band radio is your primary target. The C-band radio is also easier to jam.

Yes James, educational and experimental purposes, of course...

When the drone has lost its communication to the base it switches to auto mode and uses GPS navigation system to fly back. GPS has two frequencies; 1575.42 MHz called L1 for civilian; and
1227.60 MHz called L2 for military. Now if those two frequencies are jammed the drone is completely lost. Cantenna dimensions for 1575 MHz are Diametre 5.06", Guide Wavelength 5.85", 1/4 Guide Wavelength 1.46" and 3/4 Guide Wavelength 4.39". Similarly for 1227 MHz are Diametre 6.5", Guide Wavelength 5.38", 1/4 Guide Wavelength 1.35" and 3/4 Guide Wavelength 4.04"

i think we'll never get to the level the political criminals want to be @, this drone thing will never get underway fully, basically because I think the money is going to run out. These pricks are broke and if more people would quit funding, supporting this nazi regime style system, it will be a total wreck in 8-12 months. I say we starve these pricks out of existence. this drone crap is so primitive right now, I see major failures out weighing major success's, I also see more & more hackers going to learn how to bring these sumbitches down effortlessly. QUIT PAYING THE POLITICAL PRICKS!!!!

Another note... STOP WORRYING ABOUT DRONES PEOPLE!!  They are not the end all be all in any way just pimped out RC toys. Don't be a pathetic weezer! If we have to fight do your best and if your number is up (usually a failure or calculated risk on your part) SO BE IT!

Learn Mobility and Concealment, maybe some trade craft. If they don't know where you are they CANNOT hit you. And they have no where near the munitions or drones to even with perfect shots take 10% of the people who will fight out. Thats the big secret we so out number them it's not even funny. Drones are hyped to scare you PERIOD!

Note on drone altitude: depending on weather a big factor in this, drones can fly and drop munitions at anywhere from 500ft to 25,000ft but this is dependent on cloud ceiling. They have to see the target!! So a rule of thumb thats true most of the time is that the drone will be under heavy clouds which it can't see through even with thermal. 10-15,000ft is the normal operating altitude.

@Less, If your shooting at drones the situation is dire so stray bullets is not a big concern. Bullets fired straight up or close to it fall at terminal velocity approximately 200mph-300mph and the statistical probability of one hitting someone directly on their bare head is almost nil, also why you need a helmet in battle as shit is raining down as well as every other hazard. Tracers are a big help in hitting aircraft, if you can salvage or steal a M2 .50 in battle those would be priceless in AA roles for helos and low flying anything (3000 yard plus range).

Using RF to Jam or Spoof is complex and for most people won't be available, Jammers are also shoot me targets basically you set one up and run leaving it as an expendable munition, very expensive considering the cost of a mluti-thousand watt setup which is whats needed depending on range to target. Also KU band(11ghz-18) is directional so you would need to have a system to track the drone and wash it with a directional KU antenna. Spoofing might be the way to go in the beginning if they haven't fixed their GPS system yet (possible). With spoofing you might be able to capture one like the Iranians did. Insert Skills Here LOL

Brian or Donna, you probably have to make a special antenna for a RC airplane to be able to take it to the required altitude. Also fuel tank has to be bigger than normal. There are also video piloted model air crafts.
