As soon as the job opening was posted on the afternoon of Friday, July 10, the deluge began.
C.R. England, a nationwide trucking company, needed an administrative assistant for its bustling driver training school here. Responsibilities included data entry, assembling paperwork and making copies.
It was a bona-fide opening at a decent wage, making it the rarest of commodities here in northwest Indiana, where steel industry layoffs have helped…

From an IT guy. "I'm a BofA IT worker and can tell you there is a large event going down this weekend.
They're implementing what they're calling the "October Release".
My understanding is that this is a software and systems upgrade which is somehow tied into the FED and…

Questioner: You have mentioned that soon a massive awakening will take place on this planet, could you please elaborate on that? Thank you.
Beloved Brothers and Sisters of Earth,
For a massive awakening to take place, first there are some old ways of thinking that you must get rid of.
In order to help you to change your way of thinking, your planet is about to experience one of the most revealing moments in mankind history. The quarantine set upon your planet by…

The "dollar debate" on the Internet has been ferocious and emotionally-charged, but sadly lacking in logic. To oppose the "dollar will crash" theorists is like arguing a woman's right to choose with the fist-waving throng assembled outside an abortion clinic. The results are equally disappointing. To say that "minds are already made up and the issue is settled",…

That's right.
All of us here on 12.160Mhz are sort of pre-programmed to recognize political, banking, military and corporate scams that are sometimes even of global proportions. It's in our nature, right?
The next one and perhaps the largest one ever hasn't even begun, but it's brewing.
Unemployment, the unemployment figure provided by our political machine, is determined by calculating the number of people actually collecting unemployment compensation. Right…

Is this Orwellian or what???? “They said my privacy wasn’t intruded on because the surveillance was covert,” she said. Covert = no privacy violations???? So, restating it differently, if you don't see them watching you they are not violating privacy?? Isn't that called stalking? They are making a mockery of the laws around the world. Can anyone not say we are entering another dark age?
I wonder how much more the UK citizens will tolerate. The question is once they choose to fight,…

I thinking about with this screwed up economy and corruption in this world. What would Mc Donalds do if the economy is slumping. Would they charge for dipping sauce? Back in the 80's and 90's dipping sauce was free now they charge for it according to the recent complaint made on a site called complaints board. Complaints board is a good site that has customers and long time users to speak out the truth about business and how the economy is effecting business. Soon we will have a list of places…

Or a stooge.
While the Swine Flu has been declared a national emergency, these items have not:
Homelessness
Foreclosure
Lack of health care
Adulterated food - you know, Bisphenol-A, Aspartame, BHT, Nitrates, etc.
Pollution - you know, the air we breath and the water we drink
Education - you know, the thousands of kids that are failing across the country
And a hundred other things that would and could be solved through declaring a…

WASHINGTON — President Obama has declared the swine flu outbreak a national emergency, allowing hospitals and local governments to speedily set up alternate sites and procedures if needed to handle any surge of patients, the White House said on Saturday.
The declaration came when long lines formed around the country for the swine flu vaccine, with distribution that has not met demand.
Flu activity — virtually all of it the swine flu — is now widespread in 46 states, a…

First, I thought we straightened this out, the swine flu and N1H1 are not the same. Obama signs it on a Friday night, historically a time when most people don't pay attention. Further, known as a time when scary and or shitty legislation is rolled out. You know the kind that nobody wants and is pissed when they hear about it.
I wonder what kind of unprecedented powers Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will have. Besides being able to bypass Federal Regulations. A…

Should have seen that one coming. Modeled after the European Union, so cameras on every street corner. Draconian laws being passed by other countries that don't truly represent you. Loss of freedoms. They think the Union is a long way off due to all the fighting among the countries. Interesting how the US wants a role in creating the Union and some part of it when it is formed. Lets hope that there are too many disagreements for this idea to form quickly or happen at all. I believe our gov is…

The list of musicians is very impressive. Many of them are in the Rock&Roll hall of fame in Cleveland. Unfortunately this list and the artists’ music is associated with one of the blackest marks in American history- the torturing of prisoners at Guantanamo.
Their songs are played at ear bleeding high volume to prisoners there. Many of the artists, who have supported progressive causes throughout their…

I'm fairly seriously considering NOT paying my credit cards...and I have roughly five figures of revolving debt (alone) that I'm carrying. Hell...I'm barely making my mortgage payment each month as it is.... I'm considering this for several reasons....
1. I know that I didn't create this financial clusterfuck that we're in.... Arguably at least...those same banks that loaned me the money created this mess....
2. It's been said that the national debt is (or was and is still…
