I just had a discussion about religion with a man who's a Christian.
One of the things he said is that Atheists, Agnostics and Humanists are responsible for more deaths then any other beliefs. He also alluded to the fact that Atheism is responsible for economic collapse and moral decadence.
Of course I disagree. Totally. Completely. I can prove it because it's recorded history.
Atheists, Agnostics and Humanists are an extraordinary minority. Most people on the planet…

I'm not really that interested in population control. Not because I don't think it's a real concern but because I think those interested in Eugenics are for now concentrating on Third World countries and the US isn't in the loop. So I have to focus on my concerns which are for my country. However, I am adamantly against population control that isn't voluntary. If you'd like to be smart and have 1 or 2, even 3 children, fine. If you want to breed a brood of 10 that's also your business but in…

Doris Haddock, or Granny D to her friends passed away just a few days ago at the age of 100. She walked across America at an age most of us won't ever reach. She was just shy of her 90th birthday when she chose to walk 3,200 miles across the country. She fasted until someone provided food and she stayed awake until someone provided shelter. She just walked.
Doris Haddock was born of January 24th, 1910 and she passed away on March 8th, 2010. She was an American politician, Senate…

I tried to make this point on another thread but failed miserably and was attacked by the copy and paste bandit. I maintain the accuracies of my statements.
I have three close friends that I talk with frequently, some more then others. One lives in Lahore, Pakistan, a doctor and we speak daily; one lives in the UK, a smitten intellectual; and one lives in the UK half the year and Pakistan the other half; a prolific internet author. (feel free to Google Charles Ferndale, he'd appreciate…

In a school system that doesn't cater to BRILLIANCE and the gifted and seriously intellectual students are BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS misbehavior is misjudged and simply not tolerated.
Were I a teacher I would immediately recognize the signs. This student is bored because the subject matter and content of what I'm teaching is way below her natural abilities. I'd tell her so she understood why she was bored. Not in America, obey, just shut-up and obey. That's all we're…

There was no profanity, no hate. Just the words, "I love my friends Abby and Faith. Lex was here 2/1/10 :)" scrawled on the classroom desk with a green marker.
A GREEN MARKER! It wasn't carved into the desk with a 6" knife. It could be washed off!Alexa Gonzalez, an outgoing 12-year-old who likes to dance and draw, expected a lecture or maybe detention for her doodles earlier this month. Instead, the principal of the…

The immigration issue is a divisive one.
Personally I see illegal immigrants as hard working law abiding people struggling to survive in an increasingly difficult world where borders are porous running from oppression to a country that can't survive without their labor. Without them the lettuce that's already on your table at $2 a head would be $4. The tomato's for your salad? You probably couldn't afford them. But that's not the point.
A bill is quietly working its way…

This is about Opium and 9/11. Give the retired General some slack. His English isn't perfect but his sense of reality is right on and he's not afraid to speak out. Many of you know my position since I've stated it clearly here many times. His position and my own are identical and as I read across the internet and interact with people as well I realize most of us, 1000s of us, maybe millions of us have the same perceptions based on the overwhelming evidence.
Here's what the General has…

Most of us know about the commercial mortgage bomb exploding slowly across America and we all know about the derivatives bomb yet to explode, and it may not though it probably will. I didn't know about the Fanny Mae Freddie Mac slow ticking bomb set to explode sometime in 2012, probably to coincide with the end of the earth or the arrival of planet X. Just kidding, but the Fannie Freddie bomb is 5 trillion dollars and that's 30% of the debt we currently have. No small… Continue

This song defined my generation and it's just as relevant today, sadly, as it was when it was first recorded by Buffalo Springfield in 1966 and released in 1967. We knew then just as we know now that something was very, very wrong. We didn't know what it was exactly although we had some vague ideas. We attributed the inequities in our society to a small group of old white men. Little did we know that the very same small group of corrupt white men would turn into the vast and comprehensive…

Really now, there's not much to say. This might be happening only in Britain for now but what happens there first typically comes here and visa versa, so for what it's worth if you don't invite me out for dinner on your Mastercard, tell me everything there is to know about your private life and keep the curtains open so I can wave at you while you're changing your underwear I just might turn you in.
Big Brother IS watching and he lives right next…

Only a guy like Gerald Celente would make that analogy. He's a great man and we should all be grateful that guys like him catch the ears of people like us. We should be thankful he's managed to acquire a soap box and enough media attention that we get to hear him talk from time to time.
People like Celente are rare, indeed.
So he was in Chile for the earthquake. Not to enjoy the rock and roll of course but the earthquake caught him unaware and he was forced to cut his trip…
