(AP) Cops dealing Doritos at post-legalization Hempfest *Real!*

SEATTLE (AP) - A few things will be different at this year's Hempfest, the 22-year-old summer "protestival" on Seattle's waterfront where tens of thousands of revelers gather to use dope openly, listen to music and gaze at the Olympic Mountains in the distance.

Norwegian Vikings grew hemp

Norwegian Vikings grew hemp

The Sosteli farmsted, in Norway's southermmost Vest-Agder County, offers strong evidence that Vikings farmers actively cultivated cannabis, a recent analysis shows. The cannabis remains from the farmsted date from 650 AD to 800 AD.

This is not the first sign of hemp cultivation in Norway this far back in time, but the find is much more extensive than previous…

City Reduces Police Force By Placing Public Under Constant Surveillance

A New Jersey police department is replacing their beat cops with “virtual patrols” that can spy on you.

The Camden County Police Department recently created the Real Time Tactical Operation Intelligence Center in order to “help a reduced police force” by installing 120 cameras across the city, according to My9NJ.

The cameras can record in real-time and save footage for future use.

The police department also monitors the public with a mobile 40-foot high sky… Continue

Dangerous Operation at Fukushima’s Reactor No. 4 Could Ignite "Atomic Chain Reaction" - No kidding.

Threatening to trigger a new—and possibly more devastating—nuclear disaster than the original or ongoing one at the Fukishima plant in Japan, a risky plan to remove fuel rods from a damaged reactor building could unleash an “unprecedented” level of radiation, according to experts, if things go wrong.

According to reporting by Reuters, the radioactive material within the fuel rods slated for removal are equivalent to 14,000 times the amount released in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and… Continue

6 Million Bananas Can Fit in One Container Ship —the Invisible Industry that Puts Clothes on Your Back, Gas in Your Car, and Food on Your Plate

The following is an excerpt from Ninety Percent of Everything: Inside Shipping, the Invisible Industry that Puts Clothes on Your Back, Gas in Your Car, and Food on Your Plate by Rose George ( Metropolitan Books, 2013): Friday. No sensible sailor goes to sea on the day of the Crucifixion or the journey will be followed by ill-will and malice. So here I am on a Friday in June, looking up at a giant ship that will carry me from this southern English port of Felixstowe to Singapore, for five weeks… Continue

Excerpt from The Series - The Amazing Vision of David Gould

This is an excerpt from The eBook I have talked about, and gives an idea of the type of information to be found there.

How many of you have a Social Security Number? Why? I don’t, and I would never dream of having one (I did at one time, of course). Are you aware that the first Social Security Numbers (they weren’t called that then, but were 9 digit identification numbers) were issued in the 1870s--to black slaves registering as citizens of the United States?

And how many of…
