July 14, 2009 "The Guardian" -- Rupert Murdoch's News Group Newspapers has paid out more than £1m to settle legal cases that threatened to reveal evidence of his journalists' repeated involvement in the use of criminal methods to get stories.
The payments secured secrecy over out-of-court settlements… Continue

Mouseland was a story told first by Clarence Gillis, and later and most famously by Tommy Douglas, leader of the Saskatchewan Co-operative Commonwealth Federation and, later, the New Democratic Party of Canada, both social democratic parties. It was a political fable expressing the CCF's view that the Canadian political system was flawed in offering voters a false dilemma: the choice of two parties, neither of which… Continue
Does anyone really know what time it is? Its not that
I think Dylan in "All Along the Watch Tower" was wrong about the hour getting late.
It was more like he was right about many among us thinking life was but a joke. Which has lead US to just waisting time.
Since the gospel of a brotherhood of mankind has been preached and even trampled all over this Beautiful Planet, we are closer to the days the Lamb said would come. Which having taken a good look around these…

That subject has never been mentioned in the mainstream media but Cynthia McKinney's recent attempt to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza via small ship was designed to shed light on this subject, although most people are still quite unaware.
On June 30th 2009, Israeli Naval gunships surrounded the Spirit of Humanity, a boat used by the Free Gaza Movement, in international waters 60 miles off the coast of Israel, and arrested twenty-one activists, from 11… Continue
The director of the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), Rod Beckstrom, wants to see the nation’s traditions of democracy and human rights extend into the online world.
In his keynote at this year’s Black Hat conference, Beckstrom praised America’s founders, including George Mason, for devising the Bill of Rights and compared Mason’s ideas about human rights to “an open source module” created by an engineer for all to use.
“Cyberdemocracy — blogging — is a great use of… Continue
Let us begin today with full disclosure: For those who don't know my position on global warming alarmism and its insidious uses, it is that this phenomenon is the greatest hoax in modern times and is being used to achieve things - bad things - quite apart from its ostensible goal of "saving the planet."
Al Gore wanders the spheroid he is determined to save, spouting increasingly inane observations as his bank account grows and his "carbon footprint" becomes ever more Godzilla-like,… Continue

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The number of cadets with confirmed cases of the swine flu at the Air Force Academy has increased to 67.
The Gazette newspaper in Colorado Springs reported Monday that 121 freshmen with flu-like symptoms have been separated from the rest of the cadets. They were placed in a dormitory on the base near Colorado Springs late last week when they started showing symptoms.
The "doolies," members of the incoming freshman class, are among about 1,300… Continue
A July 5 story by David Sanger of the New York Times typifies how completely our mainstream media have been bulldozed by the warmongery’s propaganda machine. "Despite Crisis, Policy on Iran Is Engagement" states that "the accelerating crackdown on opposition leaders in Iran" will not deter the Obama administration from "seeking to engage the country’s top leadership in direct negotiations."
We don’t have a clue what’s actually going on in Iran.… Continue

Two hard-line US lawmakers have called for greater efforts to topple the Tehran government, going as far as to suggest support for anti-Iran terrorist groups.
Democratic Representative and Chairman of the House Veterans' Affairs Committee, Bob Filner called, on June 26, for greater support for what he called "resistance groups" in Iran, putting a special emphasis on the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), UPI reported.
On Sunday, Former House Speaker and leading… Continue

A remarkable aspect of the revelation of the secret CIA program, passed over virtually without comment in the media coverage, is that CIA Director Panetta was not informed of the program for more than four months after he assumed nominal control of the spy agency. He was sworn in as director on February 19, but his “subordinates” did not bother to tell him of the existence of the program that had been kept secret from Congress until June… Continue

It really bothers me when people start moaning about "the death of the 9/11 movement". There are few things that are more important that exposing this God-awful event for the pack of lies that it is. That event has been the springboard almost a decade of murder, torture, theft, and depravity visited on not only the citizens of other countries, but the USA as well.
I woke up this morning watching CSPAN coverage of the Deputy Commander of Guantanamo Bay's detainee operations giving a… Continue
