Overwhelm Youtube

Due to the new censorship by Youtube ('Theirtube', 'Hulutube') I am trying to organize a counter attack. Youtube has removed the AlexJonesChannel (Alex Jones' channel, May 4th), THElNFOWARRlOR (Alex Jones' new channel, May 11), TheInfowarsChannel (Alex Jones' new back-up channel, May 9th), truth seeker Earthlasthope (June 24) and many other Infowarrior channels for no reason. They have also limited downloading from their site (April 23) along with removing videos that talk about the New World… Continue

Recent Events in Iran Require Re-Examination of Gary Hart's Letter

CFR Co-Chair Gary Hart's Letter to Iran 09/07

Presuming that you are not actually ignorant enough to desire war with the United States, you might be well advised to read the history of the sinking of the U.S.S. Maine in Havana harbor in 1898 and the history of the Gulf of Tonkin in 1964.

Having done so, you will surely recognize that Americans are reluctant to go to war unless attacked. Until Pearl Harbor, we were even reluctant to get involved in World War II. For… Continue

A Beautiful Poem about Freedom by Khalil Gibran

Khalil Gibran

And an orator said, "Speak to us of Freedom."

And he answered:

At the city gate and by your fireside I have seen you prostrate yourself and worship your own freedom,

Even as slaves humble themselves before a tyrant and praise him though he slays them.

Ay, in the grove of the temple and in the shadow of the citadel I have seen the freest among you wear their freedom as a yoke and a… Continue

What IF?

Governor Sarah Palin is doing her part to repair friendships with the other party. The rest of the world cannot understand how, after bitter election campaigns, American politicians can kiss and make-up.

For instance:

Gov. Palin has invited, to her great state of Alaska , the men who defeated her, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. She has set up a moose hunting trip for their enjoyment and hired three prominent experts in their field to assist them.

Dick Cheney will… Continue

Unlikely as it may seem, Paul, a Texas Republican, is the most popular member of Congress outside the United State, if foreign television appearances are any indication.

Paul expected his international influence to diminish after the quixotic…

FTC plans to monitor blogs for claims, payments

Deborah Yao

Associated Press — 6/22/2009 10:11 am

Savvy consumers often go online for independent consumer reviews of products and services, scouring through comments from everyday Joes and Janes to help them find a gem or shun a lemon.

What some fail to realize, though, is that such reviews can be tainted: Many bloggers have accepted perks such as free laptops, trips to Europe, $500 gift cards or even thousands of dollars for a 200-word post. Bloggers vary in how… Continue
