The Oil and Gas Industry Appears To Be Under Attack

By Raz Putin

There have been a number of incidents/accidents in 2019 in the oil & gas industry in the U.S.A and worldwide that should raise some eyebrows.

The recent “drone attacks” on Saudi Arabian oil production as a very obvious example. The potential loss of 5 million barrels a day (roughly 5% of total worldwide oil production) already have oil futures looking up after flirting with the rock bottom pricing early in the week. Saudi Arabia has now officially announced that it will be halving it’s overall production. Iran via it’s proxies in Yemen is being blamed for these latest attacks. No surprise for this reader. Add to this attack the recent attacks on oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman and it appears that their is a concerted effort going here. Who’s really to blame and who really gains from higher oil prices? A quick Internet search will reveal many possible results.

Recent Oil & Gas Production and Distribution Incidents and Accidents In The USA

Recently you may remember a major explosion that occurred at a South Philadelphia oil refinery (at Philadelphia Energy Solutions).

The explosion and fire there after caused the refinery to close it’s operations (bankruptcy in progress). This resulted in a reported loss of a thousand+ jobs. Philadelphia Energy Solutions facility had a capacity of 335,000 barrels per day and was reported to be the largest refinery on the East Coast. The refinery facility is made up of two refineries. The fire occurred at the Girard Point refinery. The refinery originally went into operation in 1926.

In this case it is worth noting that the parent company

Pes Holdings LLC was severely cash strapped and in financial decline.

The company had just reemerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy just a year before the accident occurred on June 21, 2019.

It’s also worth noting that the refinery had another fire 11 days before on June 10 with no injuries reported.

Federal investigators are still seeking the cause of this accident.

Another recent incident/accident on March 17, 2019 at Intercontinental Terminals Deer Park, Texas Facility resulted in the Houston Ship Channel being closed for a number of days at a cost of a potential billion dollars to the US energy sector.

It is worth noting that Intercontinental Terminals had a long history of environmental violations going back to 2009.

List of pipeline explosions, leaks and incidents for 2019 to date

(courtesy of wikipedia)

On January 17, a natural gas and oil explosion occurred resulting in the loss of 1.4 million dollars worth of natural gas and oil, and a fire lasting all day, in Watford city, North Dakota. There were no injuries or deaths.[2]

On January 18, an Enbridge natural gas pipeline exploded in Noble County, Ohio, causing two people to be injured along with two homes being damaged.[3]

On January 29, 2019, a pipeline ruptured, near the town of Lumberport in Harrison County, West Virginia. The rupture was located at a girth weld of an elbow on the 12-inch interstate pipeline. The root cause investigation concluded that a landslide about 150 yards from the rupture moved the pipeline approximately 10 feet from its original location causing excessive stress on the pipe resulting in the rupture.[4]

On January 30, a crude oil spill, caused by an apparent open valve, occurred in Enid, Oklahoma. This incident resulted the loss of 750 barrels or 31,500 gallons into the environment the oil extending 5 miles down a creek.[5]

On February 2, a fire was intentionally set in Pittsylvania county, Virginia. This fire caused $500,000 worth of damage to mountain valley pipeline construction. There were no injuries or deaths.[6][7]

On February 6, a natural gas release caused a fire, in San Francisco, California. This fire lead to the evacuation of approximately 100 people in the area.[8]

On February 6, an oil spill occurred in St. Charles County, Missouri. This oil spill resulted in the release of 43 barrels or 1800 gallons of oil.[9][10]

On March 3, an Energy Transfer Partners 30 inch natural gas pipeline exploded and burned, destroying a house, that was under construction previously, in Audrain County, Missouri. There were no deaths and no one was injured. The cause was Stress Corrosion Cracking. During hydrostatic testing of this pipeline, after the failure, 4 other sections of pipeline failed. It is estimated that 91,719 cubic feet of natural gas was released during the incident. [11][12]

On March 4, an oil and natural gas pipeline explosion, due to high pressure, happened in Martin County, Texas. This explosion lead to the death of 2 employees.[13][14][15]

On March 18, an oil spill occurred due to a valve leak, in Watford City, North Dakota. This occurrence resulted in 12,600 gallons of oil being released.[16]

On April 4, a natural gas pipeline explosion occurred, with officials unsure of the cause, in Longstreet, Louisiana. There were no injuries or deaths related to this incident.[17]

On April 24, a Magellan Midstream Partners pipeline was detected to be losing pressure. Investigation found a leak in the pipeline, near Cottonwood, Minnesota. About 8,400 gallons of diesel fuel had leaked from the pipeline.[18]

On July 10, a Phillips 66 Pipeline 12.75 inch crude oil pipeline leaked, north of Wichita Falls, Texas. The failure was in a longitudinal seam.[19]

On August 1, an Enbridge 30 inch gas transmission pipeline exploded and burned, in Stanford, Kentucky. One person was killed, and, 5 others injured. Five homes were destroyed and at least four were damaged in the Indian Camp mobile home park in Stanford, where the explosion occurred. Flames reached more than 300 feet and melted tar on nearby roads, officials said.[20]

Many of the incidents maybe attributed to a maxed out US Oil and Gas Sector. The industry has been trying to ring out as much oil and gas as possible to facilitate the Trump Administrations goal of energy self sufficiency and domination.

With Saudi Arabia’s diminished capacity the US has become the world’s #1 producer for the moment.

However all of these events (incidents or accidents) have had a beneficial effect on the price of oil on the world markets for those oil producing nations.

That said you have to wonder are Trump and the U.S.A.the intended target here. Because all of these events don’t bode well for Trump’s dream of making America great again.

The increased cost/price of oil will have a detrimental economic affect at a time when Trump is trying very hard to ward off a recession before the next election.

Concerted effort or coincidences?

Place your bets...

I agree with Diana, looks like a hoax. The entire world revolves around these oil companies. They have oil stored forever, but they'll tell you the opposite to charge you more. They are the most corrupt people in the world.

We all know about the Empire that wants control of every oilfield on the earth, they're moving right along with their plans for Greater Israel. The Zionist House of Saud probably faked the attacks. It's all about "Bomb, bomb, Iran". For over two decades Netanyahu has told the same lies, but they want us to make the preemptive strike. They don't do their own dirty work. Bolton has been their warmonger, I'm glad he's gone, but I worry that Trumps not seeing how they are setting this up.

Great investigative journalism Diana your hired!

Yes it's all a bunch of bunk just like the time before and the time before that.

Bolton's departure followed by this incident is just another false flag play taken from the overused False Flag 101 book.

Thanks again for your diligent work here on 12160.info. Cheers!

Look in the lower right hand corner of the photo. There is a car or pickup truck there. That shows how large the tanks are. Iran's smallest cruise missile has approximately a 290 pound warhead. If an Iranian cruise missile hit those tanks (as some have claimed) the hole would be approximately as far across as 5 of those cars if the tank was robustly built, and more if it was not. AND IF there was no additional explosive effects provided by the fuel in the tank. The entire story line for the refinery attack is an obvious hoax. There's no way a 290 pound warhead hit that tank.

Obviously there's no way to be 100 percent certain with this, but a referee would certainly call it for the following reasons: There was no damage to the oil facility. At least no damage to speak of. They can patch it up and get it going STAT because it was extremely minimal damage that did not wipe out actual refining capabilities, all it did was light big fires (that are already completely out) and make a bunch of smoke. If this was for real, it would not be put out already.
Another very suspicious aspect of this was how precise the "hits" were. It looks as if someone went up on the tanks with a man lift that could access the same spot on each tank easily, and put the absolute minimal explosive there manually that would be needed to blow the tank, without actually destroying the tank. There's not a chance in hell it was cruise missiles because if it was, there would be nothing left of the tanks. Instead, they are all neatly poked in exactly the same spot on each tank. The tanks obviously only need to be patched, they don't need to be replaced.

Here's a HUGE reason to call the attacks totally FAKE, and I know this cinches it -

First, an explanation to prove the scenario here - In industry, when repairs have to be made to any tank filled with anything that can explode when mixed with air - if it needs to be welded, welding can be done without worry provided the welding is done below the level of the liquid in the tank, down below where the air can reach it. This is even true on gasoline tanks. As long as you don't puncture the tank or weld where the air is, there's no chance at all of there being a problem from being welded, welding can be done below the level of whatever liquid is in the tank. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW EVERY SINGLE "DRONE AND CRUISE MISSILE" HIT THESE TANKS.

Take a look at this picture. All the tanks were hit the same way in exactly the same spot, with precison that is not attainable by those accused, as well as precise limited damage not attainable by those accused.

This attack was prepared for, because NONE of the tanks exploded, all were full to above the level of impact. What are the chances of that happening at random? I'd say zilch, and am probably right. AND HOW THE HELL ARE THE FIRES OUT SO SOON AFTER THE "ATTACK" THAT A PHOTO LIKE THIS COULD BE TAKEN RIGHT AWAY? These fires were out in ONE DAY. That needs some explaining, - explaining that can't be done outside of this attack being hoaxed for max impression and minimal damage.

BOTTOM LINE: If it is all out so quickly and the damage is that uniform and the damage is that minimal, first of all Iranian cruise missiles did not do this because the damage is not enough (all of them carry 130 KG (286 pound) warheads and up) which would obliterate a large section of those tanks and not just leave a little hole (Oh, I know what did this, the Iranian navy put limpet mines on those tanks, YEP, that would end up looking like the photo) and magically and mysteriously got all of them right where they would not ignite any vapors and blow the whole thing. Forget about how they sailed into that refinery to do it, IRAN DID IT, IRAN DID IT, IRAN DID IT!!!!

The Yemenis did not do this either, they were simply not capable of that kind of precision. Even the U.S. would likely not have an attack pattern be so uniform and perfect, this looks like a hand placement job and someone was brainless about making it look credible. FINAL ANSWER.

@cheeki kea,

You and me both,  that's where my money is riding. Energy production used as a tool by the devolutionists or is that devilutionists?!!!

Round, round she goes, place your bets...

Re. Bets.  I'll go for a win and a place on Concerted effort. I see Coincidence as an outsider and the divi. is small. The Climate Change promoters own the race track - and it's a race to the bottom. Other industries are being utterly hounded also. It's unrelenting, It seems like an attack on growth and production is at hand.

Greed and the need to keep control of their monopoly.

Alternative energy poses a huge threat to their control mechanism.

There is no coincidence that gasoline is the preferred fuel of USA.

It takes a lot more investment in refining gasoline especially premium gas (octane boosters).

Diesel requires less technology and costs to start up production.

Gasoline production just another way that Rockefeller/Rothschilds maintain their almost exclusive control of the North American market.

In this day and age we should be free oil usage in automotive industry, at least. Greed of oil barons holds us hostage. They even resort to killing any inventor who gets in a way.
